15m Sprint Test
Measure your acceleration and short-distance speed
Equipment Needed
- • Tape measure or measuring wheel
- • Flat, non-slip surface
- • Stopwatch or phone timer
- • Cones or markers
Setup
- Mark start line and 15m finish line
- Ensure surface is flat and safe
- Warm up thoroughly (10-15 minutes)
Procedure
- Start in standing position behind start line
- Begin timing when you cross start line
- Sprint as fast as possible to 15m line
- Stop timing when chest crosses finish line
- Rest 2-3 minutes between attempts
- Record best time from 2-3 attempts
Safety Notes
Stop immediately if you feel pain. Avoid maximal efforts when ill or fatigued.
30m Sprint Test
Measure your top speed and longer-distance performance

- • Flat, non-slip surface
- • Stopwatch or phone timer
- • Cones or markers

- Mark start line and 30m finish line
- Ensure surface is flat and safe
- Warm up thoroughly (10-15 minutes)
Procedure
- Start in standing position behind start line
- Begin timing when you cross start line
- Sprint as fast as possible to 30m line
- Stop timing when chest crosses finish line
- Rest 3-4 minutes between attempts
- Record best time from 2-3 attempts
